"The object of desire", this short and incisive headline may be cliche in the fashion world, but the pieces designed by Catherine Sauvage are way far from stereotyped creations. Certainly there are diamond rings and pearls necklaces as well - the eternal icons of the world jewelry- but what makes me stop in front of Sauvage's windows every day, are the vibrant colors, contrasts, the perfection of  the lines and a democratic selection of gems originated from all over the world.
By closing my eyes at this  moment I can visualize them: the golden pearls combined with black diamonds, Fire Opals surrounded by blue Sapphires, Moonstones highlighted by brown Diamonds  (my newest passion) and the delicated spheres of porcelain beads. All beautiful, colorful and irresistible like a tray of Laduree macaroons.
Among all the things I love in this city, beyond the tree-lined streets, red berries pies, the beautiful landscapes through the windows of the train and of course, the windows of Bvlgari, Cartier and Tiffany, is drinking my morning coffee in front of Catherine Sauvage Haut Joaillerie at the KÖ Center.
